This website is a part ofthe virtual library of classic world literature. The initial version of the site was developed and initiated by UNESCO and accomplished in 1999 (the old version of the site here ).

Last update of website was made on a voluntary basis in 2012. All published works and features are free, and we invite all who wish to contribute to the dissemination of Lithuanian literary heritage, contact us for a possible further digitization of works and site development.
